Wasafi Artist Mbosso been announced as a winner under the Hipipo Uganda Awards.
The Singer has won under the category of Tanzania Video of the Year with his song ‘Hodari’
The artist had been nominated under two categories as Africa fans favorite fresh artist and his ‘Hodari’ song nominated for Tanzanian Video of the year.
Mbosso was competing for this win under the Tanzania Video of the Year against;
- ‘Katika’ – Navy Kenzo ft. Diamond Platnumz
- ‘Wet’ – Vanessa Mdee and Gnako
- ‘Atarudi’ – Harmonize
- ‘Mwanza’ – Rayvanny and Diamond Platnumz
- ‘Mvumo Wa Radi’ – Alikiba
Hodari is a 5 month old song which has over 11 Million views on YouTube.
HiPipo Music Awards celebrates and promotes music, musicians, and artistic excellence in Uganda, East Africa and with special categories for whole of Africa.
After this win, Mbosso thanked his fans who went out of their way to spare time to vote for him. He also urged them to continue supporting his talent
