After the release of the song, fans expressed their disappointment saying that the song was trash and they were not impressed at all.
The online onslaught was too much that the Jamaican artists Cecile who featured in this collabo weighed in on the matter.
The Jamaican star said that Willy Paul explained the song to her and she liked it. Cecile in a long post revealed that she was unhappy with Kenyans attitude towards their very own artists.
Cecile added that her perception of love and what Christianity is supposed to mean differs from some people.
The Jamaican believes that, this is the problem that Kenyans have. According to her, she says that some Kenyans do not agree with Willy Paul which is totally okay.
Despite that , Cecile mentioned that it does not mean that the song was trash.. she says that trash is when something is not produced properly or is off key or flat, is not mixed or mastered well.
Cecile threw shade to Kenyans saying that it does our culture no good when outsiders see the awful comments because this might be the first introduction some people will have of a Kenyan artist.
