Kenyans have cheered Maribe’s father for shielding and standing by her daughter after she was summoned earlier yesterday by detectives at Kilimani Police Station. She was later taken to the DCI headquarters on Kiambu Road where she is said to have recorded her statement.
On a post by a kenyan, he explained that Jacque Maribe’s dad did what a father does best which is to stand by his kids!
“Look at his face… serious tough love written on it! Looks at his hands… ready to shield his child! This is what we fathers will always do! No matter how much Mwendwa and Mwendi may mess up… as an old lion, I will always be there for them!” reads post

One of the thing that has been questioned is the silence by media personalities in regard to Joseph Irungu’s case has raised concerns to a number of Kenyans. A couple of days ago, a concerned Kenyan claimed that the people who congratulated Maribe several weeks ago after getting engaged have now abandoned her.

There is something about being a father. As fathers. We r always there for our daughters. It doesn’t matter what. No wonder… God is revered as “our father who art in heaven”
