The former Gormahia striker Meddie Kagere, who now plys his trade for Simba Sports club, has been voted the standout player for the Month of August in the Tanzanian premier league.
The Ugandan born Rwandese striker has been on excellent form at his new club where he has scored nine times in all competitions since joining the Msimbazi side from Kenya Premier League Champions GorMahia.
The Rwandee striker, left K’Ogalo, for Simba after just two seasons with the Greens.
He accused K’Ogalo of failure to renew his contract despite being aware of it ending and hence his transfer to Simba, claiming that they wanted him more.
