Change of Tack? Raila Goes Slow on Ruto Attacks as He Eyes AU Job: How Govt. Will Identity Tax Non-Salaried Kenyans & Why You Will Soon Pay to Use Major Roads, Highways – Murkomen

Good morning,

Even as the housing tax levy continues to bite very hard, Kenyans seem to have been left alone to fight for their battles against the National Government.

Unlike in the recent past when Azimio leader Raila Odinga would come out guns blazing opposing such a move, the former premier has this time, kept his cool, leaving Kenyans wondering and gasping for air as Ruto continues to squeeze hard.

Raila seems to have toned down his anti-government stance, opting to concentrate on his bid for the AU job, even as he pushes for his party’s revival.

Raila has also kept off the public limelight and local rallies, choosing to crisscross countries to campaign for his African bid instead.

ODM leader’s usual media conferences where he would critique “poor government policies” are also missing in action.

Do you think Raila is justified to ‘abandon’ Kenyans and concentrate on his AU job?
