Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua became the talk of the town after Public Service Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria took a sly dig at him.
Kuria indirectly attacked Gachagua over the ongoing battle for the next kingpin in Mt Kenya a day after King Charles III’s visit to the country.
However, the vocal DP did not take the matter lying down and came out guns blazing.
On Sunday, the former Mathira MP proclaimed that he had no intentions of being the next top dog in the Mt Kenya region.
He further noted that those seeking the position should try their luck out.
The DP’s new found stand comes barely a month after declaring that he had succeeded the former President Uhuru Kenyatta as the next kingpin.
The interesting thing was that Gachagua barely a month ago remarked that he had been selected and anointed by God for the post.
This brings us to the big question, is DP Gachagua the right man to lead the Mt Kenya people?
