550. This is the estimated number of people who came into contact with patients who have tested positive for Coronavirus in Kenya. The number could be more because local dailies are reporting that rogue Kilifi Deputy Governor Gideon Saburi could have interacted with more than 1000 people alone.
Of these, there are 16 police officers among them a Deputy OCS who are in self-quarantine. A priest who arrived in Kenya from Italy, the epicentre of the virus, was not forced into quarantine but allowed to visit at least five counties.
