When Diamond debuted his new single ‘Jeje’ on YouTube a week after releasing ‘Gere’, many eyes were locked on the sensual dancer in his video.
With fluid-like movements, billowing outfits and the grace of a gazelle, the star of the show was clearly the gorgeous leading lady in the video.
Many have been wondering who she is but you don’t have to wonder any more as we have established her identity.
Though there isn’t much about her online, here are some interesting facts we gathered about her:
- Her name is Malaika Salatis.
- Miss Salatis is an island girl. She was born and raised in Reunion, an island on the Indian Ocean. The tiny island is an overseas department of France and is located east of Madagascar and southwest of Mauritius.
- Malaika moved to Sydney Australia at the age of 25 to pursue her artistic dreams.
“I have always been passionate about music and dancing from a very young age. Coming to settle in Australia and starting all over again after having stopped for more than 5 years, was a real professional challenge. But I always liked to take risks and to be put in the trial” she told 7 Magazine. - Malaika is a professional singer, dancer, and model. This was demonstrated by the way she carried herself in the ‘Jeje’ song.
- She describes herself as; “Blunt by nature and in constant search of progression.”
