A pan-Africanist, Lumumba is the current director of the Kenya Schools of Law and a widely travelled speaker across the continent.
Lumumba is particularly known for his eloquence and mastery of both the English and Swahili languages.

He has become a major target of jokes with Kenyans often using difficult jargon only to attribute them to PLO Lumumba.
Lumumba draws inspiration from former Congo leader Patrice Lumumba and Burkina Faso’s Thomas Sankara- all revolutionaries who were brutally assassinated in their quest for change.
