Boro Holds Tottenham at Riverside

Middlesbrough and Tottenham played to a one-all draw in an FA Cup tie at the Riverside Stadium and will face-off in the return leg to determine who progresses to the next round.

Ashley Fletcher gave Boro the lead early in the second half before Lucas Moura equalized to secure a return leg showdown for his side.

The goal did finally come in the 62nd minute through Lucas Moura who headed home from a Serge Aurier delivery.

Tbe match slowly degenerated to an end to end affair with both teams looking for the winner. Moura had a couple of chances to win it for Mourinho’s men but fluffed and in the end the match ended in a stalemate.

The teams will face off again at the Tottenham Hotspurs Stadium.
