Tottenham Players Urge Mourinho to Sign Winger

Tottenham players have reportedly urged their manager Jose Mourino to sign Wolves winger Adama Traore during the January transfer window.

The Malian-Spanish winger has scored three goals and set up three others this season. His games came against Manchester City where he scored a brace at the Etihad as Wolves stunned the reigning champions and on Sunday against Spurs where a last-minute Jan Vertonghen strike helped Spurs pick a 2-1 win.

The north Londoners are expected to beef up their squad during the January transfer window as Jose Mourinho eyes a strong second leg campaign. Among those linked with the club is Lyon’s Moussa Dembele, Sporting’s Bruno Fernandes.

Joining the list is Traore. According to sources in the UK, Tottenham players have urged Mourinho to sign the winger after he impressed when the two sides met on Sunday at the Molineux.

A product of Barcelona’s famed La Masia, the 23-year old first came to the English Premier League and joined Aston Villa in 2015. He later moved to Middleborough after a season with the Villains.  Two years later he moved to Middleborough.

A few weeks ago he was at the center of controversy when he pledged to play for Mali national team before later changing his mind and opting to represent Spain.
