Nominated Senator Isaac Mwaura has promised to sponsor a young high school student who broke the internet after showcasing his reporting skills.
The boy, Levis Saule, was recorded doing a mock live reporting from Mau when he was identified by Citizen TV Director of Strategy and Innovation Mr Linus Kaikai.
He was to later be united to his role-model Senator Mwaura who has now promised to pay for part of his school fee.
On 2nd November, I retweeted a clip by Citizen TV about some young boy who had recorded himself as a Kiswahili reporter…
Mwaura would reveal that Saule was from a family of four with a sickly mother and a bread-winner sister who was taking care of them.
The boy, who studies at Nkubu High School, is set to get support after the senator also promised to rally his friends and well-wishers to assist him to complete his studies.
The future looks bright on this side of town.

Netizens had earlier on commended the young Saule for exuding great talent with a section of them urging Citizen TV’s Wachira Waruru to grant the boy a space in TV.
Some would call on Nimrod Taabu to mentor the boy before handing him over to BBC Swahili after he attains an employable age.
