Athletics Fans Want King David Rudisha Back on Track

Athletics fans can’t wait to see Kenyan middle-distance runner and world’s great David Rudisha back on his feet for more scintillating performance.

Rudisha is a two-time Olympic Champion and World Record Holder in 800m race, who has been out of competition due to a number of issues including a misdiagnosed injury, a major car crash, his father’s death and the breakdown of his marriage.

Recently, he came out to say the storm has blown away, hinting at a come-back and an intention to defend his Olympics title in 2020 in Tokyo.

“I’m very positive about this because Tokyo 2020 is something I have been talking about over and over again, even before my injury.

“I want to do my best to be there and to take part, because not many of the 800m athletes have participated in their third Olympics,” he said, in a recent interview.

On Friday November 1, the world champion reflected on his journey on social media and fans pounced on the post with messages wanting to see him back on track.
