Tottenham Hotspur fans have their fingers ahead of the club’s meeting with Crvena Zvezda on Tuesday for their Champions league match.

Spurs have not won a single match from their two previous encounters in the tournament so far, picking up a draw against Olympiacos and a thorough beating against Bayern Munich.

And fans are literary begging the players to play their hearts off the pitch for a win  in order to better their position in the group where Bayern Munich dominate with six points from two straight wins.

The frustrated fans aired their voice on Tuesday morning when the club posted an update ahead of the match.

One fan said: “Time to turn things around and make pretty much 90% (maybe 95%) of the fans happy again… play for the club and the badge, not the paycheck and media attention!!”

Another one expressed his concern on the players’ self-belief.

“Well if our last match is anything to go by, had a lot of possession, but still looked vulnerable defensively and if Watford were more clinical, they should’ve punished us. We need to pull our fingers out and show improvement, otherwise it could be another frustrating night. At this present time, I have no doubts about our capability, but our discipline and self-belief is a major concern,” he reacted.

Some assured the team fans’ support urging the players to make a point in the match.

“COME ON YOU SPURS…we are behind you 100%… But we need you guys to fight till the end. Especially against Liverpool. This is your moment to show us fans that we should not give up hope.”

“Come on guys, team need encouragement not bitter comments. Get behind them. COYS.”
