Citizen TV news anchor, Hussein Mohammed has left his fans disappointed after announcing he is quitting the station after 10 years.
Breaking the sad news through a tweet, he celebrated his ten years the station, revealing how much he enjoyed the company of his colleagues. Hussein said he was taking a break to concentrate on “other matters”.
“It has been a wonderful 10 years at Citizen TV. I have enjoyed & relished every moment I shared with my colleagues at RMS,” he said.
“I have decided to take a break after October In Sha Allah to concentrate on other matters. Loved the fans, the critics & everything in between. See you soon.”
This comes after he was trolled by fans for being rude on air. The top anchor left viewers in annoyance after a live interview with Kiharu MP, Ndindi Nyoro.
Hussein was described as rude and never gave the MP a chance to express his views in the right way. Taking to social media, netizens expressed their anger towards the anchor saying he was so disrespectful.
It was not his first time to receive trolls as he has been attacked in the past by Kenyans following his interviews with Deputy President Ruto.
