Homeboyz presenter G Money is rarely one to stir up controversy, but he was is rare form thanks to his rude response to backlash over the Konshens concert.
Fans had taken to social media to complain about how the event was organised as a stampede ensued at the gate.
Responding to their complaints, G Money dismissively said that the only people complaining were those that were too old to be attending concerts forgetting that he too is no spring chicken.
“…the only people complaining are over 30 and should have been at home thinking about church on Sunday. It wasn’t about y’all on Saturday, but because of FOMO you took yourself to a youth concert to complain. Sad,” read Money’s post which he later pulled down.
Following his response, fans took to Twitter to complain that he should have handled the situation in a better way instead of resorting to ageist comments. Fans felt that his comments were out of p pocket especially due to the fact that a large number of his fans are from that age group he was dissing.
