A fire incident has been reported at Huruma Girls Secondary on Tuesday evening.
A video footage of the school in flames has been shared on social media.
Kenya Red Cross has confirmed the incident and said its response team is on the way to handle the situation.

The society did not state the extent of the damage but only said the fire is suspected to have broke out at the boarding section.
According to Peter Santoni Pere, a man who shared the video clip, the fire began almost an hour ago and Nairobi City County fire brigade is yet to arrive at the area.

Similar incident was reported at Chemitan Academy, Bureti Constituency, where fire razed down the building destroying belongings of 50 students.
The incidents comes at time when schools are opening countrywide for the third term.
