Nyeri Town MP Ngunjiri Wambugu is a happy man after President Uhuru Kenyatta relieved Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri off some duties.
In the new Cabinet realignment,Uhuru said the Irrigation State Department will be moved from the Agriculture Ministry to Water and Sanitation under CS Simon Chelugui.
According to the President, this is to enhance synergy within the Water Sector, which is a key enabler for the implementation of the Big Four Agenda.
But Kiunjuri has always been a headache to Uhuru and the entire nation. He has been scolded publicly more than once but anything seems to change in his ministry.
Wambugu took to his Facebook page to publicize Kiunjuri biggest loss.
The two don’t see eye to eye. In June Wambugu disrupted Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri’s meeting in Gatitu, Nyeri County.
The minister had a hard time addressing the crowd, pleading with rowdy men and women to calm down and let the meeting proceed.
The CS has been at been at crossroads amid pressure to support Uhuru while angling himself to be Deputy President William Ruto’s deputy come the next general election.
However,the online community has trolled the Kieleweke mp for celebrating Kiunjuri’s downfall. One Facebook user, Murush Harush has alluded to the Bible to school Wambugu that he should love his neighbors as he loves himself.
Another Facebook user has boldly claimed that the enmity between Wambugu and Kiunjuri is a sign of Central Kenya falling apart.
More so Ngunjiri has been harshly trolled for thriving on negativity which will haunt his future in politics.
