The season 2019-20 began two weeks ago on a very high note and fans are upbeat the race will be enthralling as it was in the last season. Only two matches have been played so far and the stakes are already high with clubs setting up themselves.

Fans have also started to take positions with many already calculating the outcome of the competition. Last season saw a very interesting campaign- one that made EPL quite sensational.

Interesting events that made the 2018-19 season memorable

Manchester City lifted the trophy after a thrilling contest to a point that the winner was decided by the last match. Pep’s side finished with 98 points- just one point ahead of Liverpool.

The season’s Golden Boot award was shared by three players; Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and Liverpool’s duo Mohammed Salah and Sadio Mane. It was Salah’s second successive win with Harry Kane winning the award in the two seasons before.

Expectation this season

With the majority of top-class players in form, the race for the season 2019-20 Golden Boot is apparently unpredictable. Though various top strikers like Raheem Sterling, Marcus Rashford among others have started taking positions, the Journey is still long and is sometimes marred by challenges.
