Getting a job is not easy, but it’s far easier when you know what to do to get it. That makes you stand out. It puts you ahead of everyone else and boosts your chances of getting hired.
Employers can be a pain in the ass sometimes, but we have to learn to adjust whenever faced with difficult situations right? In every workplace there are protocols, and they must be followed. However, sometimes, you just have to act when you see it’s in the best interest of the organization.
If you conceive an idea that is very viable and requires an urgent application, for example, you’re expected to use it, and apply it, not wait for clearance. Business owners want smart people who can improve the organisation, not people they’ll help. So what happens when the worst hits you and you have to take an off day? Supposing you were grieving and you were asked to report to work, what would you do?
My dad died and the same day they wanted me to come in to “Take my mind off of it” https://t.co/j4CSq4RD9k

People have had their worst with employers to a point they had to call it quits. Check out these reactions.
i had just gotten out of the mental hospital for a suicide attempt and they called to see if i was coming in and when i told them i had intensive outpatient therapy five days a week they asked if i could work with the hospital to skip days. i quit on that phone call.

I was violently throwing up and couldn’t walk or stand, had to lay on the floor of our kiosk for a 9 hour shift. My coworker watched me throwing up and just left. I had to go spend 3 days in ICU, where they called each day to see if I was done “faking it”

When I called into work while I was in the emergency room after arriving in a ambulance and their response was “Next time you really need to get someone to cover for you and give us more notice” like..next time?? Next? Time? Got it. 👌🏻👌🏻
