In the past years, Kenyan Musicians have always hinted of exploitation and extended corruption at the Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MSCK). Artistes have requested to be paid what is dully theirs because music is a job like any other and musicians hard work should be noticed.
They should not have to cry, protest, and beg for monies owed to them right? How would you feel if you worked so hard to have the best input out there only for it not to be appreciated? Kenyan female rapper Wangechi popularly known for her ‘Ligi soo’ song took to twitter highlight the plight of Kenyan musicians and their low pay on royalties.
Saw this text yesterday and remembered Abbas got paid 900 Bob for Tokelezea.
