Why Pascal Tokodi is a living testimny of Harmonize song, Never Give up

Renown multitalented Kenyan, Pascalino Lpesinoi Lenguro Tokodi, famously known as Pascal Tokodi has become a beloved screen prince since he started he making his own songs not forgetting his role in the Selina Tv drama which airs on Maisha Magic East.

What many many don’t know is that he has been in competitions before where he almost felt like giving up.

Just like the Kwangarau hitmaker, Harmonize, narrated in his hit song, Never Give Up, Pascal has also been through discouragements in his career.

He previously participated in the Tecno Own the stage and the judges’ comments were not so pleasing though he managed to leave as the second runners up.

One of the judges blasted him telling him that he should stick to acting since singing was not part of him.

He struggled with his vocals and outshone a number of the competitors.

Auditions for Teno own the stage took place in Lagos, Nigeria on October 17th, 2015 which was in conjunction with Africa Magic and Tecno, Nigeria’s leading mobile phone.

The whole idea was to bring everyone together from different countries in Africa to battle for the winning prize at the end of the show in February 2016.

The auditions saw different talents setting the stage on fire in Lagos and each acts competed against each other in order to gain the judges’ support and be selected among the final 15.

The cut down from thousands of people at the audition on October 17th, 2015 finally went down to five people from Nigeria to join other contestants from Kenya and Tanzania.

Nigerian-born Shaapera went home with the competition’s grand prize of $25,000 at the end of Grand Finale in Lagos.

She also earned for herself a recording deal as well as a brand new TECNO Phantom 5.

In second place was the Tanzanian, Nandy, who went home with $15,000, a three-month internship program at the internationally acclaimed Chocolate City, and a Tecno Phantom 5 smartphone, while Pascal, finished in third place and earned for himself $10,000 and a Tecno Phantom 5 smartphone.

Pascal debuted as a professional actor in 2012 when he featured in Citizen Tv’s Makutano Junction gig, a few months after completing high school, taking the role of Thomas.

He appeared on shows such as Groove Theory (Africa’s first TV Musical drama), Pray and Prey, Machachari and Wrath and Selina (2018). His music debut was in 2016, with singles, “Sitaki” and “Mama”.

Besides acting and singing, he is capable of mimicking different types of voices, animals sound included.

He has become a successful screen prince because of his patient and perseverance.

He is an admiration of many ladies.

Recently, secular musician, Fena Gitu, shared some letters she was given by students from Precious Blood High School asking her to plead with Pascal to visit their school since they love him so much.

His recent emotional trait portrayed on Selina TV drama left all his fans in tears for he makes it look so real and shares the emotional feeling with his audience.
