In a bid to encourage girls to go to school and stay in school even during their menses, Celebrated Kenyan artiste Esther Akoth alias Akothee come out to motivate girls and women who can’t stand the red days.
Taking it to her instagram she wrote;
Do you know how many girls drop out of school simply because they cant stand the RED DAYS 🤔🤔
Apart from education our girls are getting in school , do we assist them in embracing their periods( the red days ) how many are still ashamed of the red days, how do you feel when it catches you unaware.
I am always proud to park my sanitary towels, my daughters are free to tell me about their girly challenges . girlchild need support , very fragile being, yet very strong , let me thank this company who provided towels for girls in muranga , in Turkana its gonna take me like 2 months to collect enough towels and panties for our girls down there , I love you my women 💪💪💪💪💪
AKothee has been making headlines lately for the good job she’s doing, giving back to the society that has impressed the public.
The singer launched a foundation called Akothee foundation that is meant to help the less fortunate especially in Turkana region.
