Anxiety as Nairobi S3x Workers Killers Bounce Back on The Streets

Nairobi S3x workers are in mourning after one of them was found brutally murdered in a trend that is seen to be gathering momentum over the years.

Details surrounding the death of the 22-year-old Elizabeth Njoki have come to shock the entire Nairobi commercial s3x workers, with the group expressing fears on the safety of its “workforce.”

A colleague, Ms Caro Maina told the media that Njoki was last seen at 5 am speaking to a client who was in a car.

The client is said to have engaged with Njoki for a short while before they drove off together in Hurlingham.

However, she would not hear from her since the last contact on Friday, forcing her to check on her in her Satellite house.

“Njoki, being a very talkative person, got us all worried when we did not hear from her for two days. We immediately suspected something wrong had happened to her,” said Caro.

Upon missing her there, Caro is said to have alerted her other colleagues with whom they would launch a manhunt to determine Njoki’s whereabouts.

The group visited police stations in Kilimani before deciding to visit the nearby hospitals.

Running out of options, they decided to check the morgues when they finally stumbled upon Njoki’s body at Kenyatta National Hospital Mortuary.

“We first went to her house in Satellite but did not find her. Then we lodged a report at Kilimani Police Station, before proceeding to several mortuaries, only to find her body at the KNH mortuary on Thursday,” said Caro.

According to preliminary observations, Njoki’s face was swollen and also had deep cuts.  The women suggested that Njoki may have been tortured first before she was murdered.

According to a report by the Kenya S3x workers Alliance, some 25 S3x workers were killed in Kenya in the year 2016 alone with the trend growing by the day.

March this year, police discovered the body of a 20-year-old lady believed to be a se3x worker in Kisauni.
