The reason your feet swell is because of water retention. When you do not drink enough water, your body is forced to retain the little there is. As such, drinking water will help flush out the excess fluids and toxins.

3. Exercise regularly

Exercise is important during pregnancy. It’s not easy but you must try to do it regularly. You can talk to your doctor to recommend the safe workouts during pregnancy. In some cases, however, swollen feet may result from working out. So, watch out to know if your feet swell or become better after working out. But also, be moderate with your workouts.

4. Don’t be still for too long

If you stand for too long, sit for too long, the condition may get worse. Keep on changing your position from time to time. Put your feet at an elevated position, stroll around the office for some minutes to allow better blood circulation.

5. A massage always does the magic

A good massage will help you relax and it also promotes blood circulation. The excess fluids retained in your feet will also move from the location hence reducing swelling. Have someone do it if you cannot manage to do it by yourself.

6. Consume foods that are rich in potassium
