Police in Homa Bay county have rescued a Form Two student from a house which it is believed that she was locked in for a week and defiled.
The Police have taken the girl for medical exam while the defilers are yet to be found.
The case of defilements have been on the rise in the recent past with cases trickling in each and everyday.
Elsewhere,The Court of Appeal in Nairobi has dismissed an application by a man who was reportedly ‘framed’ and convicted for allegedly defiling her daughter.
On Tuesday, a three-Judge bench chaired by Court of Appeal President William Ouko declined the application by Julius Wambua Musyoki to hear the confession by her daughter.
In the appeal application, Wambua through his advocates Cyrus Maweu and Mike Mwema told court that the rape victim who is Wambua’s daughter had recanted the evidence she gave against his father in the alleged rape case.
