Hon Raila Odinga has come out publicly to talk about what transpired on the trip to China where he accompanied President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Before the trip Hon Raila Odinga had made a promise to the people of Kisumu to secure a loan from China which the Ministry of foreign affairs stated clearly that it was not part of the agenda of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
But since the return , Hon Raila Odinga has decided to speak on the SGR extension fate. Raila Odinga has blamed the media for propagating to much negativity instead of focusing on some positive sides.
But Raila has stated that the SGR extension is still on course and now it has been placed under the handshake projects.
Raila spoke while accompanied by several Cabinet Secretaries including CS James Macharia ,CS Peter Munya among others.
The President has remained quiet on the issue of SGR extension to Kisumu which has also raised eyebrows.
