Turkana South member of parliament James Lomenen on has said the people of Turkana are in Jubilee Party to stay.
The little known legislature promised Deputy President William Ruto of full support come 2022 and told him not to worry about Turkana votes as the people of Turkana are fully behind him.
Lomenen said their decision to join Jubilee Party was to unite Kenyans and they cannot join another party which is dividing Kenyans. He added that what people from his Turkana South constituency want for now is development and not politics.
The legislator promised DP Ruto that the Turkana people will never betray him assuring him that even if he goes to hell, they will comfortably follow him.
“We will follow you because you are ready to solve our problems. Turkana people benefit from development and not politics. And because you are ready to solve our problems, we will be with you wherever you go. Either you go to heaven or hell, we will follow you,” Lomenen told Ruto.
Lomenen was speaking in Turkana south at an event led by Deputy President William Ruto. Turkana Governor Josphat Nanok was also present.
At the event, DP Ruto Laid the foundation stone for Aro Teachers Training College and opened Turkana South constituency CDF office.
