Whoops! Typos spotted on Currency that’s hard to counterfeit

As Kenya struggles to crack fake money syndicates, Australia government has the audacity to print and circulate genuine notes full of glaring typos.

About $2.3 Billion worth Of currency with misspelt word has been used in the country since last year.

According to photos shared on social media, the word “responsibility” is incorrectly spelt. They used ‘responsibilty’ instead.

That sounds very irresponsible!

The new 50 Australian dollar ($35) notes were designed in February 2018 in honor of the first female member of an Australia’s parliament, Edith Cowan.

However, one powerful line from Cowan’s speech falls flat on the notes; in extremely tiny print, “great responsibility” is spelt “great responsibilty” — not just once but three times and the third “i″ is omitted every time.

The state has taken responsibility and the notes with the typo will remain legal tender and continue to circulate around Australia.

The Reserve Bank of Australia said the spelling error will be corrected at the next print run later this year.

Australia’s high-tech polymer notes are among the most difficult in the world to counterfeit due to their extraordinary level of detail.

The technology has been exported to other countries. We pray this technology will reach Kenya soon.

The misspelling appears in an extract from her first speech to the Western Australia state Parliament in 1921.
