Nairobi Police officers are a distressed lot after a woman detained at one of the city;s police stations died under mysterious circumstances.
The woman identified as Ms Magdaline Ombango is said to have been booked at Kayole Police Station after a resident accused her of trespass.
Magdaline, who was waiting for a court process to br instituted against her is said to have collapsed Sunday while in the cells, and was rushed to a nearby dispensary .
On arrival at the local health facility, Ms Ombango is said to have been pronounced dead.
The death has jolted Police officers at the station into action in a bid to establish the cause of the death.
An officer unauthorized to speak to the press said the lady may have developed breathing complications while at the facility.
