Days after Kiambu Governor Ferdinard Waititu shocked the country with his ridiculous county budget, Thika residents have now called for his resignation.
While talking to the media the resident furiously called for the governors resignation claiming that most of the things he claims to have done for them are not done yet.
According to one resident, Our governor lied he gave the youth Ksh 20,000 meant for development which is a lie.”
He further added saying that the County of Kiambu is not a national government to donated to South Sudan peace keeping kitty and in thet regard they are demanding for their Ksh 2.5billion.
Their remarks came following Governor Waititu’s budget which saw
the county allocate funds for functions unrelated to the county.
However, Waititu denied that he was aware of the expenditure claiming to have been as shocked as everyone else. He suggested the items had been “sneaked” into the audit report.
