Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu is back to making headlines for but wrong reasons. The Governor has never been applauded for anything positive.
In the Thursday Senate appearance Governor Waititu was grilled in regard to the audit report he submitted to the auditor General Edward Ouko.
Under his county, Governor Waititu had prepared a budget which completely looks like the budget of the National Government.
Waititu’s report is entitled Statehouse Affairs. Under it their is a section called Cordination of State House Functions which his county allocated 973M.
In the same line Waititu has a budget for the statutory benefits of retired Presidents which is worth Ksh. 180M.
Waititu has also stated that Kiambu County budget for State Corporation and Advisory Services is worth Ksh. 591M.
What is even shocking Waititu has a budget for ensuring good relations with South Sudan which it is allocated with 58M.
That is not done but also Governor Waititu has a budget for free Education which is Ksh. 804M.
The whole of the Kiambu Audit Report is a copy and paste of the national budget.
This show how Kiambu is led by a careless Governor. This is demeaning even the value of his people from his county who could have tabled a better report.
