Judge explains why he presided over a case while standing

Standing is good for health but some professions call for a sedentary lifestyle.

The renowned Mombasa court judge, Eric Ogola on Monday shocked many when he abandoned the designed comfy seats.

Instead, he presided over a case while standing throughout the session.

His move elicited different opinions from various people who have watched his video on social media.

While commenting on the matter, the judge who was using a specially designed bench podium, stated that sitting for long hours exposes judicial officers to back pains and ailments.
