Alvindo came into the limelight through his Takataka hit which almost everyone used or even dedicated to their exes.

After the recent increase in the killings of university students and love circles, KFCB boss Ezekiel Mutua put a halt on the music.

He said that the song was in a way inciting men to ‘deal’ with women if they are rejected.

He banned the song and was yanked from Youtube. But Alvindo released the video of the song one week later.

Mutua was angered by the arrogance portrayed by Takataka crooner and sought CID’s help in tracking him down.

Appearing on Chipukeezy show, Alvindo said that he is ready to go to the police because he believes that he is innocent.
