Tottenham’s Chance of Sealing Top-Four Finish

Tottenham Hotspur incredibly lost to West Ham in the Premier League last weekend. But this has not totally dented their dream of a top-four finish.

If anything, Spurs chances of securing a chance to play next season’s Champions League increased over the course of the latest game week.

Spurs succumbed to a 1-0 defeat against West Ham and this was the opportunity for their competitors to close the gap and pile a lot of pressure on them.

However, Arsenal lost 3-0 to Leicester City and Chelsea was not also able to draw nearer after drawing 1-1 against United at Old Trafford.

Poch boys now sit at the third position with 70 points, Chelsea at fourth with 68, Arsenal fifth with 66 and Manchester United sixth with 65 points.

This, therefore, means that Tottenham only needs two points to book a position for the Champions League as their goal difference gives them an advantage above other remaining teams.

Nonetheless, if they want to seal the third position, they need to win one match and draw the other against Bournemouth and Everton.
