Chelsea boss not sure if he will keep Hazard

With Eden Hazard heavily linked with a summer move to Real Madrid, Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri provided a transfer update on the Belgian after the 1-1 stalemate against Manchester United.

According to reports, Real Madrid are confident of signing Hazard at the end of the season as they seek to rebuild their squad following a poor season.

Hazard has made his intentions clear about joining Madrid since last summer’s transfer window as he has continually flirted with the reigning European champions.

Chelsea are currently under a transfer embargo and will be looking to hold on to their star man.

Speaking in a press conference after the United draw, Sarri was asked if Hazard will still be a Chelsea player come next season, “I don’t know. You have to ask the club, the problem is the new contract. He will go into the last season of the contract in the next season, I don’t know anything new at the moment. But in this moment for me it is not really very important. I am very happy with Eden, he is playing very well and he fights on the pitch, so I am really very happy. As I say in every press conference I want to respect his decision.”
