AFC Leopards players lauded after Bandari win

AFC Leopards coach Cassa Mbungo has lauded his team’s concentration levels which saw earn a vital win against to Bandari Fc 2-1 on Sunday. The win moved Leopards to 10th on the log with 34 points, level with 9th placed Kariobangi Sharks.

Leopards are on a good run of form and the Bandari result ensured that they have not lost a match in their last 5 outings, their best run so far this season. Speaking after the match the Rwandese was full of praise to his charges.

“I have to laud the boys because I noticed some improvements. We have been conceding late goals recently but today that didn’t happen. I have to thank the management too for giving us all that is required to play games and I want to thank the fans too for always being with us and all I can do is to encourage them to continue supporting us,” Mbungo said.

Vincent Oburu had put the leopards ahead in the 16th minute before Orotomal equalized for the Bandari. Leopards main man Wyvonne Isuza would, however, score the winner 20 minutes from time to extend their unbeaten run to 8 matches. Ingwe’s next match will be against Nzoia Sugar on Wednesday 1st May.
