This Man: Sonko Buys Jewelry Worth 4.3 Million For Wife

The Nairobi governor Mike Sonko has a taste for gold. It is clear from the kind of chains, shoes, and watches he puts on. we all know that Gold is not cheap, but spending Millions on jewelry, sounds like a joke!

A video clip has resurfaced showing Mike Sonko buying an extremely expensive necklace, Versace brand worth Kshs 4.3 million for his wife.

He enquirers the cost, which shockingly amounts to 4.3 Million which he proceeds to counter to pay in cash, claiming that the price is cheap!

While in the store, Sonko is heard telling the seller:

“I want big chains ingrained with diamond. Big chains are good.”

Sonko, shortly thereafter, is heard telling one of his aides: “Kuja usikie beire hapa Makere… [Come and hear what the total price would be, Makere”

“I am a fan of gold and Versace,”

Sonko then says before asking his aides to convert the price from Dirham to Kenyan shillings.

“You haven’t bought from us before. The neckpiece you have just purchased from our store is very unique, you won’t find a similar piece of art in any other store,” the seller told the governor.
