How Youtube Aided Sri Lanka Terrorists

Reports have emerged that the suicide bombers of Sri Lanka where some 360 people lost their lives while another 500 got injured.

Pressed with questions regarding the aiding of the terrorist elements in Sri Lanka, YouTube said it had enhanced vigilance around the nature of videos they accept in their platform.

The largest video platform is said to have hosted videos of an infamous Islamic Hate preacher in Sri Lanka.

The preacher, Zahran Hashim, is reported to have inspired the suicide bombers who participated in the Easter Sunday carnage.

The deaths became the highest death toll ever registered in Sri Lanka after the deadly purge on rebel Tiger fighters where some 70,000 people were killed according to UNHCR.

In one of the videos automatically generated by YouTube, Sky News are reported to have flagged a video over an “insolent cunning Christian missionary troll”  slur.

YouTube was to later pull down the video, promising to remove all extremist videos posted in the blog by Zahran Hashim.

In response to the deletion of the hate preacher’s YouTube Channel, the company told SkyNews that the channel was deleted by the user, and not YouTube moderators as earlier thought.

YouTube added that its moderators had at one point pulled down just one video for “breaching YouTube policy.”
