The advice ignored by Sonko that could have prevented floods

A Kenyan has come out to accuse Nairobi county governor Hon Mike Sonko as a leader who is not open to helpful public ideas.

As the rain is pounding and causing havoc in the city, residents face tough times to move from point to another due to flooded roads.

A woman has been reported dead at Kibra slums after her house was wept by floods Wednesday.

These biting outcomes have forced a city resident known as Peter Mwang’ombe to expose his personal intervention.

Mwang’ombe said that he tried linking Gov Mike Sonko to companies that would harvest rainwater but was ignored.

“2 months ago i sent Gov Sonko links to companies that do rain water harvesting..i reminded him of the sense of urgency becoz Nai has a severe water deficit..he never responded nor acknowledged..i gave up.” posted Mwang’ombe on twitter.

However, Gov Sonko is known to have initiated watertight plans to help curb the floods menace in the city.
