The music industry is always experiencing struggles due to artistes beefing up on each other. The hatred among artistes is mainly caused by jealous of each other’s success.
The Wasafi boss, Diamond Platnumz, faces such kind of challenge for his fame in and out of bongo land. During an interview, he exposed the bongo legend, TMK member, Chege Chigunda, for hating on his recording label, WCB.
Former Yamoto band member, Mbosso, was under Chege before he joined Diamond’s WCB. On parting ways with Chege, he became so annoyed and discouraged him from joining Diamond.
Chege told Mbosso that he would fail musically since WCB doesn’t support young talents. He viewed Mbosso’s musical journey as dead if he was to join Diamond.
On hearing this, Diamond could not believe his ears since Chege has been a great friend to him. They even worked together on a collabo ‘wacha waoane’. Diamond said that he even helped Chege by uniting him with international artistes hence couldn’t believe that he could talk ill of him.
Chege claimed that Diamond is always singing about his ladies, which portrays that he thinks much about himself. However, Mbosso has really succeeded under Diamond’s WCB. He has become so famous than before when he was under Chege.
