The court finds politician guilty of neglecting lover

Neglect leads to desperation and desperation leads to explosive content spill. The alarming rate of relationship squabbles going on in the country are have caught our leaders as well with various family fights going public threatening their reputation.

After falling-in-love in the dark with the affection blossoming to the result of the birth of an angelic daughter, things went south and now former Lamu West MP Julius Ndegwa is being forced by the court to take care of his responsibilities.

A children’s court in Mombasa has ordered Ndegwa to clear rent arrears amounting to Sh140,000 to avert eviction of an alleged family from a rented apartment in Nyali

The Tononoka children’s court issued the orders after a woman claiming to be the wife to the former legislator filed a complaint at the court.

According to the woman identified as Susan Maalim Ndegwa, whom she sired a kid with, had abandoned the family for five months, leading to the huge debt.

Ms. Maalim told the court that auctioneers were threatening to evict her and sell her property.

Senior Resident Magistrate Lucy Sindani ordered Ndegwa to clear the amount pending the hearing and determination of the application.

“The respondent is hereby compelled to clear the rent arrears as required by the landlord of the premise where the applicant and her child reside,” Sindani said.

Ms Maalim claimed she first met Ndegwa in 2014 in Lamu
