Kenyans complain of bedbugs on SGR train

Kenyans online have raised concern over a bedbug situation on the SGR train.

This comes after a photo capturing one bed bug crawling on the the seat was circulated on social media sites.

Other Kenyans jumped in to say that they came across the same at some point during the travel by the train.

Kenyans feel that it is a standard practice for any public transport to frequently fumigate the train to avoid infestation by pests and get rid of germs and bacteria.

However, one Kenyan says that they are probably too busy and caught up with paying up the loan that they might miss out on other important things that need to be done.

Bedbugs are at times considered as insects that come as a result of
uncleanliness and some have expressed their doubt in the SGR services in terms of tidiness.

Some however feel that public transport vehicles never fail to have bedbugs.

Have a look at some of the reaction

There’s no public transport that fails to have these bugs on them. People are the major medium and this ensure the survival of the bugs.

any one could have carried it onboard but KR should spray those chairs after trips. some Kenyans are dirty

What a shame if that’s true. If they can’t fumigate and clean fabric seats, they better replace with plastic leather covering seats.
