UNMASKED! The Powerful Forces Using Tony Gachoka to fight Ruto

“He is totally unsuitable. It’s actually the pin on my twitter handle,” These are the words of Martha Karua during an interview with KTN’s Tony Gachoka.

The former Justice Minister had been asked if William Ruto will be President in 2022.

KTN Point blank is a TV talk show that was started as an alternative to JKLive. And for the past few months, it looked like Gachoka was going to bring something fresh on TV.

But Kenyans are now wondering if the show is all about fighting Deputy President William Ruto.

Since it started, all the interviewees have been attacking Ruto. Last week, Gachoka invited former Jubilee Vice Chairman David Murathe for an interview. Murathe has publicly stated that he is opposed to Ruto’s presidential bid.

Some of us thought that the show would invite a pro-Ruto supporter this week but it didn’t happen as he invited Martha Karua.

Raila Odinga, Joshua Kuttuny, David Ndii and James Orengo have all appeared on Gachoka’s show. And the message has been the same ‘Ruto will never be President’

Journalism should be balanced, but Tony Gachoka has been biased from the onset. But who is he trying to impress?

They say when a dog barks, look for its owner. So who owns KTN? KTN is part of the Standard Media Group which is owned by the Moi family.

Moi’s son Gideon has also declared his interest in the Presidency. The Baringo Senator might not be on the ballot in 2022 but he is laying his foundation now.

It seems Gideon is using Tony Gachoka to spread the anti-Ruto crusade. You have to feel sorry for the journalists because he could be killing his career with partisan interviews.

It is only a matter of time before KTN Pointblank dies a natural death.
