Female artiste Katee Wambui defends Alvindo after song ban

Mahabuba hit maker Katee Wambui has weighed in over the ban of the Taka Taka song.

Wambui says that the Takataka song is something personal if Alvindo sang it with the meaning and intention he had explained earlier.

Music is an art and  Wambui thinks that people should be allowed to express themselves in whatever way.

Wambui also added that people communicate in different ways and therefore she does not think that TakaTaka was a bad song but she describes it as a hit.

Speaking on Mambo Mseto, Wambui also said that although the song was from a man’s point of view, she thinks that even ladies liked it.

She further gave the reason why she likes the song stating that it has some truth in it.

Alvindo in the song speaks about how he dealt with a lady who rejected him and played hard to get.

Despite the fact that he dissed the lady who rejected him, Wambui says that she still likes the song and defends Alvindo saying that he did not diss all women but the one who rejected him.

In regard to the ongoing happenings of love gone sour stories, Wambui says that she believes that it is psychological and she encourages men to be open and speak about issues instead of bottling up and some ending up taking brutal actions.
