Ruto Provides a Road Map That Will Help Do Away With Tanzanian Artistes

The Kenyan Creative industry is one which could provide the Country with millions in revenue should it be well looked into and proper mechanisms put in place to promote it even further.

Kenyan Creative industry has been subjected to some sort of ridicule as creatives from other countries like Tanzania and Nigeria keep minting money from Kenyans and end up living like Kings while Kenyan Creatives live ordinary lives.

Well, it seems like Change is about to come to the Kenyan Creative industry all thanks to Deputy President William Ruto who has laid down a proper road map that will see the industry revamped so as to benefit the Kenyan Youths.

Ruto has proposed the Establishment of talent centers to provide a platform for youth to hone skills, express themselves, create and market content.

The DP has also said that protecting intellectual property rights; reviewing licensing procedures for filming and boosting consumption of local productions will expand the creative industry.

He has also called for Nurturing and exploiting OF the creative economy arguing that it will increase possibilities for youth employment, promote culture and the arts, enhance talent and grow the economy.
