Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Joe Gomez and Rhian Brewster all started for the under-23 side as they face Leicester, just hours before the senior side take on Chelsea at Anfield.
Oxlade-Chamberlain was given his first action since he limped off in an under-23 match with Derby after just 41 minutes last month.
Gomez was named on the bench for the 2-0 win over Porto in the Champions League last week but was did not get off the bench and gets his first start since he fractured his e.g. against Burnley in December.
Meanwhile, Brewster has now recovered after having surgery on damaged ankle ligaments in January,
The news will be welcomed by Reds boss Jurgen Klopp as he prepares his side for a crucial run of games between now and the end of the season.
Klopp is looking to lead Liverpool to their first league title since 1990 but knows he will need Manchester City to slip up to stand any chance.

However, Klopp’s side can reclaim their place at the summit with victory over Chelsea.
The game takes place almost five years to the day after Chelsea ruined their hopes of winning the league in 2014.
Steven Gerrad’s infamous slip cost them that day as they fell to a 2-0 loss in front of their own fans.
However, Klopp insists his players are not feeling the pressure and says they are relishing the demands being placed upon them.
“I feel the positive energy,” the German said. “It’s a massive change from surprise we are up there to getting used to it and getting more confident.
“The five or 10 seconds after the Tottenham equaliser [at Anfield two weeks ago] was the best reaction in the stadium.
“We really feel as one with the supporters as a whole group. You don’t walk alone, you’re never alone in these situations.
“We are trying to keep this dream alive and at the moment it’s all good.”
