Ruto’s Weston Hotel workers’ highest pay is 20,000: Atwoli confirms

COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli has revealed that Deputy President’s Weston Hotel hires employees on casual and with minimum wage.

Atwoli who is opposing William Ruto’s bid for president comes 2022 is on the spot for attacking the DP.

The Secretary General has been on the forefront of attacking Ruto’s plans after Uhuru Kenyatta’s term is over.

Speaking on Saturday in Lamu county at a function of raising money for the Women’s Sacco.

Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho was also in attendance cheering Atwoli’s remarks on Ruto.

Atwoli bashed William Ruto’s 4-star hotel for paying meager salaries to employees and added that he can’t manage to lead the state.

“Angalia hoteli yake ya Weston, ameandika wafanyikazi casual. Mshahara mkubwa sana ni wa 20,000. Niambie akikua president Kenya itakuaje,” Atwoli said.

Weston Hotel has been on the spot after the demolition of buildings in Nairobi county that were built in a riparian land.

Weston Hotel was allegedly grabbed from the government and Kenyans have been calling its demolitions.

Earlier this year, William Ruto revealed in an international media that he was the second party of the land and didn’t know about its history.
