The rescheduling was a culmination of a series of mishaps with the event that was supposed to happen on April 27th and 28th 2019. It first started with the dropping of all international acts as previously advertised that they would be bringing one UK artist, one Jamaican artist, one Nigerian artist to the +254, as well as over 10 Kenyan artists and DJs all in one stage.

Next, the troublesome Ethic crew was ‘kicked out’ of the event due to the ongoing legal issues. Then Hype Group recently released another statement that they had cut down the event days to one due to constraints beyond them and that day 2 ticket holders would be able to use the same ticket for a friend or email for a refund.
