Angry police joined a mob that had cornered a phone pilfer and rained blows on him in Nairobi CBD Thursday.
The middle-aged man had snatched the phone from his prey not knowing that people around were vigilant.
The cop arrived shortly when the irate crowd was baying for his blood.
In the video, the cop engaged the thief briefly before flexing his muscles on the poor man.
